Hmm, I guess this blog has stopped serving its purpose already by now. But well. To end it all off, I just wanna say to all that its been nice knowing you peeps regardless the fact of how much I know of you. All of you would be embarking on different paths and I don't know if like 5 years later you'll will still remember me. We'll see that as a challenge huh? Anyway, to those going army, good luck and be glad that it has already been shortened to 1 year 10 months(that is if u got NAPFA Silver and above). And to those going uni or poly or whatever variations, I wish you the best. May you get what you want.

Things would change from this point onwards.. Anyway, I don't know. Its a choice of whether you guys want to leave this blog as a place of gathering or you all can just end it off with a very nice note from all of you.

Hi people! I'm here to advertise for my upcoming concert!

Singapore Polytechnic Concert Band will be having it's 28th annual Musical Delights Concert. Do come and bring your friends and family along, especially those who haven't attended a Band concert before (as I know most of you reading this haven't done so). It's a good experience and at a bargain price (concerts performed by other bigger, more well known musical organisations can cost at least twice more than this concert). Even if you have attended a concert before, you can still come down and support me :p.

Events : 12pm to 4pm will be the amazing race around certain parts of Singapore... 4pm to 10pm will be dinner...
Locations : Starting point of the amazing race will be Raffles Place... Not in the MRT station! Head up from the MRT to the big open area confined between the tall surrounding skyscrapers... Pit stop would be told in the last clue... Dinner location is near the pit stop...
Things needed : EZ-link card(MUST!), Water bottle(optional), Bus guide(optional), Enthusiasm, Courtesy... =)
Attire : Anything goes... Preferably something that makes you feel cool and comfortable... Running around Singapore in dark/heat absorbing clothing in the afternoon isn't going to work out for you... Hope you get the idea... =P Such a pity we don't have a class T-shirt.... Lolz...

If you can't find a partner before the day, come anyway... Will try to pair those single people with each other on the day itself... If worse come to worse you'll become a last minute facilitator... As the day approaches to the June reunion, here are some small unconfirmed details...

Date : 2nd or 3rd week of June
Time : 12pm aka noon
Duration of race : Approximately 4 hours
Post race event : Dinner near pit stop that will end around 10pm
Venue : Various... Starting point of the amazing race not confirmed yet... Pit stop is confirmed already... But cannot tell the location... It will be revealed on your final clue and you have to race to it...

Brief info about the race : Teams of 2 will race around Singapore via walking/running, buses or MRT. No taxis or cars! There are tasks to be done at each checkpoint... A certain amount of money is allocated to each team... EZ-link cards should have a balance of at least $5... Usage of handphones would be limited to those teams that are lost and really don't know where to go... Small hints will be given but time penalties will be imposed... There is only 1 pit stop and that is revealed in the final clue... Just try not to be the last team to reach it... The forfeit isn't friendly... Hehe... First 3 teams would receive prizes...

Info I need now : Anybody with medical conditions please tell me in advance so I can accomodate you... Names of partners aka the person who you are pairing up with... Anybody who wants to be facilitators in the race do inform me...

If not, you might have to pay the adult fare if the cashier does not believe that you are a student... Sadly the seats are all counter seats... So start deciding on who you want to sit next to... life is getting more and more fun for me! its getting funner by the second! every morning on weekdays, i hafta run 10 rounds round da silly track, meaning 50 rounds a week! adding in the round we hafta do during pe, it would be @ least 60 rounds a week! omg! and according to mr foo (YEAH!) 4km of running = 10 mins of *ahem*. so 12 rounds is approximately 4km, i m gonna feel high! 5 times a week! which is like 50 mins of *ahem* omg! that is so very very fun!

Hey people... I hope you people are doing well in either studies or slacking cause the upcoming get-together on May 14th (Friday) is going to be a sushi craze... Yup, that's right, the late lunch cum dinner buffet would be at Sakae Sushi! I do hope that nobody is allergic to sushi or something... Lolz... The only small problem is which outlet its going to be at... There are 2 oulets that provide the buffet till 9pm or so... Either the outlet at OUB Centre (Raffles Place MRT) or the outlet at Liang Court (Clarke Quay MRT)... Please vote in the poll which outlet you want it to be at... Poll closes on May 7th (Friday) so that I can make an early reservation... Price would be $13.90++ per person... Assuming 10% service charge and 5% GST, it would be about $16 per person... This time, the food is ready to eat, thus no need for you to cook your own food and have the fear of undercooked or overcooked food... I hope to see a larger number of people attending this time... Summary of reunion on 8th Apr 2004...
4:45 - Evan, Mei Ling, Jia Cheng and me left CJC for Far East Plaza... Took bus number 132...
4:45-6:00 - Went cake-hunting, bought Old Polar cake, went film-hunting, met Yvonne on the way, bought 3 rolls of film. Proceeded to Orchard MRT, met with a '$5 charity ticket' seller, met Hui Boon and waited for the crowd to arrive.
6:00-6:25 - Alicia arrived, then a trio consisting of Kirsty, Sebastian and Han Cong, followed by Jeremy, and then Alaric and then Qian Qi... Saw Olivia and some of us went over to have a chat with her I think...
6:30 - Proceeded to Seoul Garden... Broke up into 3 small groups... Alicia and Jia Cheng took the lead... Evan, Kirsty, Qian Qi, Yvonne, Mei Ling and me followed after, while we thought that Jeremy, Alaric, Hui Boon, Han Cong and Sebastian lost their way, it turned out that they were waiting for Wei Yu to arrive before meeting us at Seoul Garden.
6:45-10:30 - First group and second group placed their order of 8 dinner buffets and 7 drinks... Started the dinner cause some people were hungry. Soon after, third group came and we were compacting 14 people onto 3 tables... Additional order of 6 dinner buffets and 6 drinks followed. Before long, everyone was busy cooking... Some people were crazy with beef (Evan), some with chicken (Jeremy), some with shellfish and mussels (Sebastian) and some with vegetables - 'dao gay' (First group + Qi). Tables 1 and 2 seemed like a teppanyaki style cooking whereby 'dao gay' is the most cooked dish on those tables... Qi was a first timer in cooking so she took the oppotunity to display her 'exceptional' skills. Stephanie and Olivia popped in somewhere during dinner and joined in... Somewhere along the course of time, a cockroach paid a visit along the wall... Olivia tried to smack it with a fork but failed I think... It fell to the ground somewhere and soon was forgotten... Lolz... That was a funny 2 mins indeed... Throughout dinner, many conversations were made... All of a sudden I was struck by the bill... Which was a grand total of $304.15... Had to get everyone to pay $24 except Mei Ling who did not order a drink so $22... Only to find out it was $22 each (Mei Ling's $20)... And settled the change to everyone... Man... I don't like dealing with so much money... Lolz... Request for the cake was futile at first cause one of the staff could not find the cake... Fortunately all hope was not lost as it was eventually found and we celebrated Alaric's and Hui Boon's birthday. 12 fortunate people got to eat the cake... Sorry for those who didn't get a slice or didn't want to eat it due to being full!
10:30 - Exited out of Seoul Garden to take some candid pictures outside... Stupid Evan made lots of people laugh with his funny faces...
10:45 - Time to part... Most of us walked towards Orchard MRT while Jia Cheng and Yvonne went home by bus. Those that headed north from Orchard were Alaric, Qian Qi, Wei Yu, Kirsty, Evan, Han Cong and me while those that headed south from Orchard were Jeremy, Hui Boon, Mei Ling, Alicia and Sebastian.
It was a pleasant evening full of fun and laughter... Hope you all had fun! I'm sure I did...

Not much shelter from rain... Which will cause humidity to rise and mood to dampen...

See at least the class need not split up into so many different tables. Then at seoul garden, probably just like 2 rows yea? Marina Bay.. Hmm.. Not sure about that. But since it's steamboat.. Then shouldn't be a big problem squeezing us all in 2 tables yea? :D

Okay la.. time for me to open my mouth :). That time I ate on last Saturday, it was 10 bucks. Wasn't really crowded. And there's arcade there, pool there for like 5.80 an hour till 8pm? i think so. its quite cheap..and 8+ after 8pm..cos got student rate. There's also bowling if you people wanna bowl... and last of all...if u people go there in the afternoon.. kite flying, soccer are possible! even if in the night.. if you people are bored... den go down to the beach and blow wind loh...see whatever you want la :)...

The steamboat/barbeque at Marina Bay area is always very crowded with plenty of kiasu people who go there and gorge themselves with the wide variety of food they can choose... I've been there once and felt the atmosphere there was superbly humid and hot. Tables are closely arranged... Little space/walkway to walk... There is no air-con too... However the price is about $12 per person...? Cheaper than Seoul Garden... You people decide... I'll tally the votes on Sunday night...

Hi all, my first time writing in, I didn't know that this existed till recently. I just wanna say that it has been a fantastic 3 months with you guys and I really enjoyed the short journey we had together in 1T34. Sorry if I have been too bossy or too insistant or too uptight (or in Vanessa's and Yvonne's case, too crazy :P ). It's been a great experience working with all of you and I'm sure that the bond that we have built over time is very much stronger. Though we are not together anymore, let us be together in spirit. I hope that we all can keep in touch and I wish you the best in your future endeavours.

As for now, while the majority of you are slogging away in Junior Colleges, I'm bumming around at home most of the time. To those of you who are starting to turn green with envy: Hey! It's not good to bum around all the time...it's BORING! I'm BORED to death. In fact I nearly fainted (source: my blog) due to the lack of activity! So be thankful you all are at least making use of your brains!

One quick note regarding Monday's welcoming ceremony... 1T12 and 1T36 would probably not have any seniors pinning collar pins on for them as 2T12 and 2T36 do not exist... Perhaps teachers will do it... Sad huh?

Other than that, Alaric suggests that the whole (including Poly people) 1T34 meet up after school on a Friday (Hopefully this coming Friday the 2nd of April) so as to see each other in school uniform and take pictures together. Dinner would be a good idea too. If this is going to take place, I would need to gather information from some of you on what time your class ends on Friday. Please feel free to either contact me via msn messenger or email to tell me the time your class end. I would then try to arrange a suitable time and venue for the reunion of 1T34. The orientation has finally ended! I guess the previous batch was much more enthusiastic and waayy nicer than this batch. Maybe i'm bias? But hey, it's MY opinion. Hahaha. How's everyone else's class? My class hasn't been the chem/math/econs class I had dreamt of. Haha. Thinking that those people might be more outgoing and stuff. Hey share ur experience about ur new classes and stuff yea. I heard 1T33's pretty enthusiastic about stuff on the whole, as a class. Well, if they aren't, they managed to pulled it off pretty well. :P Shan't type anymore. Take care all living or dead members of 1T34 '04. :)
